I refuse to let President Trump deny women access to birth control [petition]

I'm fighting back against President Trump's unconstitutional move to allow bosses to deny women access to contraception.

By promoting discrimination against women seeking basic health care, President Trump's rules are unfair and unlawful.

That's why my office is taking President Trump to court if he allows this rule to move forward. More than 1.5 million Washingtonians may lose their birth control coverage, and I refuse to let Trump disregard our laws and our constitution.

Sign my petition: Tell President Trump and Congress to protect access to women's health care!

Contraception provides a better quality of life for millions of women and their families. Currently, thanks to the Affordable Care Act, more than half of women with health insurance pay zero copays on their birth control. Additionally, Washington state taxpayers save $160 million in maternal and birth-related costs.

But President Trump wants to give an employer the power to deny a woman the chance to plan for her family and her future. That's not right.

It is unconstitutional to allow employers to withhold the contraception benefit that is guaranteed by law. That's why I am taking President Trump to court to block these unfair and discriminatory rule changes.

Take action now: Tell President Trump and Congress to protect birth control access for women!
